Hello Gorgeous! Today I wanna share my virgin experience of waxing and IPL underarm treatment at Black Peony.
This post will be short and sweet but hopefully very informative.
So without further ado, let's jump straight into that right away.
As soon as I stepped into the salon, it felt like I stepped into a Bohemian's loft.
Very homely, cosy and peaceful atmosphere.
I had my waxing and IPL treatment in this room.
So now let's get into waxing!
They melted the wax in these covered wax pots and applied a good amount of hot wax on my underarms and yanked them off. I don't know about you guys, but seriously, I didn't experience any pain at all.
Ewww... I know this is gross but I need to show it to you guys.
It yanked out the hair from the roots..... See....
After the waxing, the owner of Black Peony, Ezen applied a generous layer of cold gel on my underarms to numb the skin. She then proceeded with Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment. Okay, for this treatment, I did experience a mild pinching sensation. Anyhoo, Don't worry, certainly not painful at all.
Yeap, she used this IPL machine on my underarms.
Overall, I didn't experience any pain, discomfort or injury. Honestly, there's a little redness but after a few seconds the redness was magically gone. The entire process was painless and professionally done. Ezen is very friendly, professional and very understanding. If you have any questions or concerns pertaining to any of these treatments, please don't be shy to ask her. She will be very happy to answer them.
So yeah, waxing is fast, convenient and not always painful.
