Gelish Manicure at Home Nails

Nothing beats getting your nails done on Sunday morning.

Oh Hey Gorgeous! Last Sunday morning, I was invited for a Gelish Nail Art session at Home Nails. It was my first time visit, so I had no idea what to expect but extremely happy to see such a cosy and clean nail salon.

Upon arrival I was greeted warmly, and invited to sit in their comfy chair. I picked my seat and settled down to enjoy my gelish nail art manicure session! 

First off, my lovely manicurist prepped my nails without using the traditional method. She opted out the soaking step. Okay loves, before you ladies scream in horror and ask why. Let me tell you, this method is the best. It's because dry manicure helps to prolong the life of your manicure, no water mess, fast and safe. Honestly, I prefer dry manicure because I don't have to soak in water and wait. My patience level is not high and I get bored easily. I like to get stuff done fast. Yeap, I know, I've to learn to increase my patience level, and take things slow and easy. Ooooopssss.... okay loves, I'll stop rambling and let's get back to the subject.

So yeah, my manicurist performed a dry manicure. My nails were meticulously filed, trimmed, clipped, shaped, buffed and cuticle work. After prepping, my manicurist started painting my nails with base coat and cured under LED lamp. Next she painted white nail polish on my nails and cured under LED lamp. After that, she drew designs without using stencil on my nails, cured under LED lamp and then applied top coat. Lastly, she finished off my gelish nail art manicure with cuticle oil application and hand lotion.

Well loves, you can also watch TV in Home Nails while getting your nails done. 

For me, I prefer to chat with my manicurists while getting my nails done.

Apart from being classified as an impatient creature, I'm also very particular about cleanliness and hygiene. I noticed that Home Nails trained their manicurists to prioritise cleanliness and practice good hygiene. I saw my manicurist immersed all manicure tools in the blue liquid solution before she used them on me. Yeap, you don't have to worry about cleanliness and hygiene in Home Nails.

Ooohh..... Absolutely impressed with the finished look and everything. I heard that their gelish nail art can last up to 5 weeks. Amazing! Don't worry dolls, I will post another picture of my nails after 1 or 2 weeks later. Be sure to follow my instagram and facebook to check it out.

My Thoughts

Location
Home Nail is centrally located beside The Cathay and near to Dhoby Ghaut MRT and Plaza Singapura. Very convenient and easy to locate the place.

Ambiance
Cosy, peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. A place where you can sit back and relax while getting your nails done after hours of shopping or vice versa.

Skills Performance
My manicurist did freehand designs and created nice Gelish nail art designs on my nails. Absolutely in love with the finished look. Absolutely flawless, meticulous, creative and detailed.

Nail Polish Colors Available
As I walked in, I saw rainbow of colored nail polishes sitting pretty on the display racks. They have any colors you want on your nails!

Cleanliness and Hygiene
They take impeccable care of their manicure tools and equipment. They always properly sterilize and disinfect their manicure tools. For your information, they also disinfect their seats and remote controls.

Customer Service
I was attended promptly as soon as I walked in and this made me feel very welcome and comfortable. My manicurist answered all my questions and demonstrated full knowledge of their products.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with their service, cleanliness and manicurist. 

I enjoyed my first wonderful experience at Home Nails.

I would highly recommend this popular nail salon to anyone!
