Sardines Ayam Brand & Recipe.



Oh Hey Dolls!  Ahem... Guess what?

It was a cool surprise to find a package sitting pretty in my mailbox on Monday.
Ayam Brand kicked my blues away. Thank you, thank you, thank you.......

So yoohoo.... I grabbed it, quickly ran back home and ripped open the package like a dinosaur.
Then I roared out loud, gnashed my teeth and gasped for breath.
Alright.. alright.... Guys, I'm just kidding he ... he... he....

Yeap, I got 2 cans of canned sardines packed in Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Ayam Brand! Alright guys, check this out. Canned Sardines Ayam Brand contains 25% lower in sodium and saturated fat as compared to regular canned sardine. No preservative, No Trans Fat and contains Calcium Omega. They are so nutritionally awesome.

SIMPLE RECIPE

Canned sardines are yummeh hot or cold, can be served in a variety of ways, from sandwich to main course! You can eat them just like that, with bread, on cracker or whichever way you prefer.
My preferred way of eating is to cook them with tomato puree. YUM!
..... and yes, eat them with hot steamed white rice. Uber YUMMY!

Now, please allow me to take a moment to share my simple recipe with y'all. Ahem....
Let's Rock 'N' Roll! 

Ingredients
2 cans of canned sardines, packed in olive oil
1 red chilli, deseeded and cut in half
1 green chilli, deseeded and cut in half
1 large red or brown onion, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, cut in half
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
2 limes
Salt to taste (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Drain the olive oil from a can of canned sardines into the skillet and heat for a minute or two.
  3. Add the sliced onions, chillies, garlics, tomato puree and gently empty both cans into the skillet.
  4. Salt to taste.
  5. Gently stir the sardine mixture for 2 or 3 minutes, turn off the heat and squeeze both limes over it.
  6. Serve the sardines on hot rice. YUM!
