In the much-anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
Be warned, this movie is not for the faint-hearted.
Evil Dead is rated R for strong bloody violence and gore, some sexual content and language. An insanely gory carnage, messy mayhem and bloody moments that make you cringe! It's really painful to watch but awesome. The moral of the story is don't take things that don't belong to you... Uh-hummmm.... Don't mess around with a book wrapped in a black trash bag and barbed wire.
I would rate this movie a 8.5/10.
