The Lounge

A couple of days ago, I was invited by Beauty Concierge to try out their luxury beauty treatments and services at DFS Galleria Singapore.  Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Rachel, the Beauty Concierge Specialist and ushered into their intimate, private lounge with plush furnishings and soothing music, allows deep relaxation and a completely indulgent experience for its patrons. 

As I entered the tranquil environment, I could literally feel my stress melt away from my body and brain.

Beauty Treatment Session

Skin Analysis

Rachel, the Beauty Concierge Specialist, is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Before proceeding with the facial, Rachel used VISIA Skin Analysis to analyze my complexion.  

What is VISIA Skin Analysis?

VISIA Skin Analysis is an advanced multi-spectral imaging technology captures digital photos of the face and imperfections. Skin features are graded and analysis provides us with the comprehensive data needed for a rejuvenation plan and ongoing skin care program based on our specific complexion requirements.

Once my face have been mapped, the machine captured a multi-dimensional image of my face, then the results were generated and available for viewing. The machine analyzed 7 components of my skin: 

Spots - acne scars, pigmentation, freckles and vascular lesions.

Wrinkles- ridges, furrows, lines or creases in the skin, caused by unprotected exposure to the sun & others.

Texture - appearance of skin's surface or smoothness.

Pores -  circular openings on the skin contain sabaceous or oil glands.

UV Spots - overexposure to the sun. 

Brown Spots - brown or dark patches on the skin caused by hyperpigmentation, melasma and freckles.

Porphyrins - bacteria in your pores that lead to acne. 

*Visia Skin Analysis provides percentile scores depict your ranking relative to others of the same age, gender and skin type.  It is best to have your skin score at higher number. (higher scores are better).

The Facial Treatment and The Lancome

After a careful and thorough skin analysis, Rachel helped me to choose the perfect facial and best product recommendations based on my skin type and condition. Next, Rachel told me to lie on the facial bed, covered me with towels and proceeded with a 20 mins facial using Visionnaire and Genifique by Lancome.

Yeap! They used these sets of Lancome high performance skin care products on my face. Here's a list of the recommended products:

About the Facial

The facial started by removing makeup and deep cleansing my skin followed by slathering and rubbing the recommended products on my face. Plus a face and eye massage to improve blood circulation and encourage relaxation. It was so relaxing and I almost fell asleep! I must say that Rachel has magic hands and truly excellent beauty specialist.

The Makeup Touch-Up

I opted to have a quick makeup touch-up after facial. Nope! I can't bear to walk around Orchard Road with naked face, period. 

Rachel, the Beauty Concierge Specialist did a quick makeup touch-up for me. I don't have to tell her what's my favorite lipstick or eyeshadow color. Guess what! She helped me to pick the right make-up colors for my eyes, skin and lips. 

Rachel used the latest Giorgio Armani Maestro fusion makeup on my face. Alright let me tell y'all, this good gal is an uh-mazing lightweight and gives you a smooth and natural finish. I'm in love with this baby, oh yeah.  I'm going to grab it when my current one runs out and stay tuned for the full review soon!

I would like to thank Zann, the Consumer Marketing Manager for inviting me to experience the luxury beauty services at Beauty Concierge. I had a truly uh-mazing experience! Rachel is incredibly professional, friendly, attentive to detail and knowledgeable in every way. She gave me honest/practical advice and tips on how to take good care my skin. 

If you ask me whether I will revisit Beauty Concierge, my answer is YES! Definitely gonna revisit Beauty Concierge for another session on different sets of services. I would highly recommend everyone to try and experience their luxury beauty services.
