If you are allergic to clutter of any kind, you will appreciate these inexpensive storage ideas. Yup! I am allergic to clutter and have absolutely no patience to search for lost or misplaced items . Usually if I can't find what I'm looking for, I will turn into a huge, green rage monster and that's not Cool!
Jewelry & Accessories
Studs Earrings & Rings
Organize your stud earrings & rings for your convenience. You can use vintage cups, plates, bowls or glam up your old plastic storage cabinet with multiple small drawers to store your ear studs & rings.
(Click image above to view full tutorial on how to make ear studs & rings organizer )
Necklaces & Bracelets
Use your unwanted fork & spoon holder to hang your necklaces and bracelets to avoid a tangled mess. This is also a great way to display your necklaces and bracelets so you can see them, find them and admire them.
Jewelry & Accessories in the Closet
Organize and hang your jewelry and accessories on a wall inside the closet (see image c) or on the back side of the closet door (see image a).
(Click image above to find out how to organize necklaces and bracelets in your closet)
Hair Accessories
Make your own hair accessories holder and organize in your closet like so:-
- Image (a) - Place any adhesive hooks on the back side of the closet door and hang your scrunchies there.
- Image (b) - Organize those pretty little headbands using paper towel roll. It's super simple and inexpensive to make. Just grab a paper towel roll, wrap it with fabric and rock it out.
- Image (c) - Re-purpose an old photo frame into a hair clip holder. Seriously, so easy Girlfriends. All you'll need is the frame, Mod Podge it with fabric and place the ribbons across. Once you have done this you will have a simple and easy place to hold your hair clips where they can easily be seen.
Sunglasses
Hang your shades, sunglasses, ray ban or whatever you call, on a drinking glass you already have laying around the kitchen. This idea is easy, handy to grab and go.
Wallets, coin purses & favorite pens
You can make your own pocket organizer or grab it from Daiso (basically a Japanese Dollar Store). Daiso is heaven sent. I love, love, love Daiso ...... Oops sorry, I got carried away, carried away, from you Mr Daiso. Ahem, okay let's get back to our topic. Pocket organizer is neat and super easy to maintain, you'll spare yourself from further headaches. Grab your wallets, coin purses & favorite pens, place them in the clear pockets and hang the pocket organizer on the back side of your closet door. Easy Peasy!
Chaos of Cords
Keep the chaos organized to spare yourself from migraine or head trauma. Yeah, to bring chaos to order can be a pain in the neck! Alright Chicas, here's how to deal with chaos. Use ziploc bag for each cord. Label each ziploc bag with the appropriate Brand Name and Serial/Model Number of the cord. Next, put all the bags into a drawer or box.
Shopping Bags
Tealight Candles & Potpourri
Tealight Candles
I hate the idea of throwing away reusable items like glass jars or bottles. I love to keep and reuse them for storing my tealight candles. Ahh...beautiful.....
Potpourri
This is my favorite bedside table lamp. Unfortunately, it decided to quit working and left my fragile heart bruised. SO emotionally cannot bring myself to throw it away, SO I decided to reuse it as potpourri holder.
Thank you for reading and I hope you guys like my storage ideas.
