MY EXPERIENCE

Last Wednesday, I was so honored to be invited by Slimming 101 to experience their Signature Meridien Therapy. 

Upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk promptly, invited me to sit and offered me a glass of herbal tea (not bitter or herby at all). Absolutely refreshing and purifying! After I've finished drinking the herbal tea, she led me to another area to take my height and made me stand on EWS (Electronic Weighing Scale). 

Immediately after that, she escorted me to a private consultation room and another glass of herbal tea was waiting for me on the table. Awesome!

While I was enjoying my herbal tea, Jenny (Therapist cum Consultant) knocked on the door, entered and introduced herself as my personal therapist. We sat down, and she performed detailed body analysis for me and explained everything about the treatment. 

After the consultation, she led me to the changing room, equipped with lockers, makeup cum hair dryer station, infra-red sauna cabin and 2 individual shower cubicles with built in shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers. They've thought of everything! 

In the changing room, I locked up my personal belongings and changed into a spa robe and put on slippers provided. Next, Jenny escorted me to the infra-red sauna cabin where I started to feel relaxed, pampered, refreshed and detoxified. I stayed in there and enjoyed the wonderful heat for 20 minutes. 

THERAPY SESSION

After the sauna, Jenny escorted me to the therapy room and she worked her magic hands on me. She explained The Meridien Marine Therapy process as she went along. An all-natural body scrub using Marine Sea Salt was applied all over my skin. For your information, this body scrub works to remove dead skin cells which helps to create an even and radiant skin tone. To my astonishment, this all-natural body scrub didn't make me sneeze at all. I have hypersensitve nose and have been having this issue since I was a little girl. I can smell through a wall, closed door and across the street. Yeah I know, that sounds weird but it's the truth, and I'm not complaining, but.. oh well. Uh oh.. Rena is rambling on again. Muahhaha.... Alright, alright let's get down to the therapy details.

After the scrub was applied, Jenny proceeded acupressure on my back, feet, legs, abdomen, arms and shoulder. She applied gentle with perfect pressure to the specific acupressure points on body's meridians. 

What is acupressure, benefits and other stuff? 

Acupressure body therapy using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Principles to clear blockage and balance flow of qi and blood through stimulation of acupressure points. Effectively breaks down stubborn fats and increases drainage for lymphatic nodes. Plus, a TCM diet plan will proposed under professional advise from the specialists.

After the acupressure therapy, Jenny wrapped me in a Thermal Detox Blanket and left me there to rest. I got so relaxed that I fell asleep. A few minutes later, Jenny knocked on the door to check if I was doing alright with the temperature and wiped the sweat off of my face. Then she left me there for another 15 minutes, and came back again to check on me and then left the room again. After 10 minutes, she came back in, unwrapped me, and escorted me to the changing room. I jumped in the shower and washed up. After shower, I put on my robe and Jenny had me stand on EWS again to see how much I weighed after the therapy.

 I lost 200gram in just one session! Wow!

My personal therapist, Jenny made me feel so comfortable, pampered and relaxed. She's so attentive to my needs, caring, polite, genuinely friendly and meticulous. She pampered and treated me like a princess. Thank you Jenny for making my day so special and wonderful.

AMBIENCE

Relaxing and restorative ambience with soothing music playing in the therapy room. 

THERAPY EXPERIENCE

In my experience, there's no side effect at all. I lost 200 grams after the therapy and I lost another 100 grams on the next day. I enjoyed my therapy session at Slimming 101 including the herbal tea. My overall experience with Slimming 101 was awesome! I left feeling so happy, relaxed and stress free.
